About Monica
Monica Gomez has been working in the insurance industry for fifteen years. Throughout her work in different insurance positions including claims, underwriting, agency, sales and marketing, Monica has obtained a well-rounded insurance experience. Over the years, she has established close relationships with multiple insurance agents in South Florida, which she has leveraged to contribute to the growth of the carriers she has worked for.
Monica joined the Southern Oak family as a territory manager in 2016. She has grown the Southeast Territory substantially, while building her expertise in property insurance. Monica feels blessed to be part of such a great family.
Monica was born and raised in Colombia, but as she says “Miami feels like home.” She moved to the states 19 years ago to pursue a Masters degree. During her free time, she loves spending time with friends and family, traveling, walking her dog, going to the beach, reading and practicing yoga. She also likes learning new things and taking on new challenges.
Monica enjoys helping others in achieving their goals and is looking forward to working with you.
